Version 1.3

Media mod allows members to upload videos and songs to your site and places them in categories of your choice..

Added Features

1. you can upload videos from your pc or use embed code from other sites making it easier to add any movie site offering movies to watch. Including youtube, google video anything.
   
2. Added flv video player to make viewing videos better in all browsers.. and added preview image before video plays
   
3. Fixed the quicktime video IE7 bug and now working in Firefox
   
4. Removed AVI upload as it not good for security and can be converted to another format
   
5. Completely icy 1.3 compatible
   
6. Able to download videos and songs.. acp option REMOVED due to lots of errors
   
7. Search for videos, songs
   
8. upload a video image or album cover for your file
   
9. when editing you can now edit your image and see the image you already have
   
10. able to open up the media in a pop up so you can watch a video and still carry on viewing your site
    
11. New editions Automatic email sent to admin informing them of new media uploaded..
    
12. All users are colourized the same as main Icy Phoenix
    

Completely incorporated into new ICY code system.. for faster functionality and ease of use

Not sure about how big a file you can upload my server allowed me to upload up to 7mb but maybe that can be changed

Quick notice this mod will not work so well with ICY PRO themes as it need tpl files edited separately I will try and have a look when I get the chance


new install just follow the install file copy over the files and do do you chmods and update your database

upgrade to this version you need to reinstall all files and follow the install file but you do not need to change any data in your database all should work as before

UPDATE

MPG/MPEG do work but you have to wait while the system buffers them.

I am working on adding DivX video player but so far the embed code does not work

hey, i am getting a sql error...  i must have missed something along the way, but i double checked it all and i cant figure out what i missed.

i click on media settings and i get this

i check and i DO have those tables.  i got no errors when i inserted my sql... any idea?

i have no Idea where to start with that... plus a lot of work....

I have seen a mod for media mod that puts sub categories into it... but it is built into something else...

Maybe if I get the time i will have a look

I need some help on the upload mp3 from machine.  I set it 6mb in ACP and i uploaded it only 2.2mb but keep getting error message "Your uploaded Media is too large or corrupted" .  how do i fix this?

As far as I know from my experience depending on your server 2mb should work fine but your server might be timing out which is causing the error...

I will have a look at it for you to see what might be going on
